Dwandra Nickole Lampkin is an actress, singer, playwright. She is also an Associate Professor of Theatre and Director of Multicultural Theatre at Western Michigan University.
Dwandra has performed regionally at the Tony award winning Denver Center Theatre Company, the National Black Theatre in New York City, the Indiana Repertory and Phoenix Theatre's in Indianapolis and the Human Race Theatre Co in Dayton, OH.
Some of Ms. Lampkin's television credits include Law & Order, Law & Order SVU, Third Watch, and the critically acclaimed series Wonderland by director/producer Peter Berg.
Dwandra has received grants from the Indiana Arts Commission and Ball State University to conduct research on the topics of Stereotypes and Diversity at the Schomburg Center for Black Research in Harlem, New York and received the ASPIRE Creative grant to aid in the research and writing of her one-woman show, The Conviction of Lady Lorraine.
Dwandra received her MFA in Acting at the National Theatre Conservatory, and is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association, (AEA) and (SAG/AFTRA), the Screen Actor’s Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
